i am trying to find the location of the speedo cable on an auto gear box transmission and the procedure for replacing it.
the car is a 1989 300 sl r107 right hand drive.

As far as I can see on the russian EPC

under Car 107 300 SL
the faclifted version after 1985 has no flexible drive for the
speedometer as has the older 280 SL. For the 280 you find it under
/54 devices/ speedometer cable.

The 300 SL has an electronic device probably.
