car starts as long as i am pouring gas down intake then dies. getting fuel to
the throttle body but not through to injectors.

You should hear the fuel pump working for some seconds after turning the
ignition key without starting the engine. It stops with pressure build
up. If you dont hear it check fuses and cables, especially the grounding
cable connector to the body.

In most cases of an engine that starts with additional fuel in the
intake you have
1) an electical problem with the cold start injector (working for about
one minute at temperatures below 20C)
2) or with the cold start enrichment regulator which is a rather complex
electric/vacuum controlled system.
